Do you have a window in your home that you wish you could make go away?
That was the case with this project. The home had an enormous trapezoid-shaped window that was about 12 feet wide by 10 feet high. The window was leaking, and the homeowners just wanted to get rid of it.
We worked with them to map out how we could replace the trapezoid shape with four windows of a more standard size and style.
And that’s exactly what we did. Once the new windows were in, we finished the area inside and out. On the exterior, we used James Hardie siding, and added trim to the entire section to give it a quality, finished look. Success!
Trapezoid windows are often seen in homes in Highland Park, Deerfield and Northbrook. If your home has one and you don’t like it, you don’t have to replace it with another trapezoid window. We can help you reconfigure the space. It can make a dramatic difference, like it did for this homeowner.
