INSTALLER/CRAFTSMEN TEAM

Join McCann as an Installer or work with us as a Subcontractor partner.

All jobs are staged and ready to go. Individuals and teams may apply.

Employee Compensation
– Salary commensurate with experience: $60,000–$90,000 year

As Independent Subcontractor
-Ask us for our install fee structure.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements
– Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general carpentry
– Ideal candidates have experience with replacing windows, doors, and/or siding
– Ready and equipped to work
– Strong work ethic, attention to detail, neatness, talent, and pride in your work
– Provide references.

Field-Based Responsibilities
– Reports to Production Management
– Follow McCann standards for quality of installation and implementation of the project
– Performs basic to routine window or door installations and removal
– Adhere to all EPA, McCann & OSHA safety requirements
– Maintain cleanliness of the project site after the completed installation

Warehouse Assistant/ Driver

We are looking for a quality, full-time assistant for our Installation managers. We are a well-established (for more than 30 years), family-owned window and door replacement company based in Northbrook with an excellent, motivated, and fun culture.

Employee Compensation:

• Hourly pay commensurate with experience: $25-30/ hr depending on experience

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• Great customer service experience
• A Multi-tasker (ability to be interrupted with a time-sensitive task and then return and continue)
• Pleasant demeanor with people, team player
• High energy level competencies
• Good driving record

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Receive window and door deliveries, sorting, and checking against the orders
• Must be able to lift heavy objects, manually moving them
• Maintain an excellent and workable warehouse environment
• Intelligently organizing the warehouse
• “Stage” the various materials for the specific job so they are ready to be used by the installers
• Schedule projects with customers
• Schedule deliveries with suppliers via phone calls and emails
• Find and order accessory material
• Verify that delivery invoices match order documents

Errand Runner Responsibilities:

• Provides procurement of supplies and materials to complete the installations
• Must have a reliable vehicle to run errands
• Mechanical handyman skills a plus (helping with minor repairs of screens or hardware), but not a requirement
• Shift hours—7-4, Monday-Friday
