When Should I Replace the Windows in My Home?
While there is no standard timeline for determining when windows in your home should be replaced, we recommend planning for replacement windows when:
- Windows have air leaks that make your home uncomfortably cold in the winter and much harder to cool in the summer.
- You want to update the look or enhance the curb appeal of your home.
- Opening and closing your windows have become difficult.
- You want peace of mind from more secure windows.
- Noise reduction is important and you want windows to block unwanted sounds.
Do You Offer Free Financing?
We understand that replacing the windows in your home is a major commitment. That’s why we offer 0 percent financing for 12 months through GreenSky on projects ranging from $7,500 to $55,000.
You can apply online, over the phone or have us apply for you during a free consultation. Learn more about financing.
Do You Offer a Free Consultation?
We understand that your time is valuable, and we do everything we can to make purchasing new windows as easy and time-efficient as possible.
When you schedule a free consultation, we’ll set it for a time that’s convenient for you and your family. Then our owner & founder, Kevin McCann, will come to your home and spend 1 hour asking you questions, answering your questions and helping you choose the best windows for you, your home and your budget. He’ll have product models with him so you can actually see what you’d be buying. In most cases, he can provide you with an estimate at the same time. (Some of our competitors take 2-3 hours to do the same thing!)
From there, all you need to do is decide if you’re ready to go ahead and order your windows!

What Brands of Windows Do You Offer?
This is critical for you to know: We only work with name-brand window manufacturers who have been in business for many years and who have a long track record of standing behind their products.
Our trusted partners include:
- Pella Windows—We are a Platinum Certified Window Contractor for Pella.
- Marvin Windows
- Alside Windows
- Sunrise Windows
Why is this so important? Because in the 30 years we’ve been in business, we’ve seen a number of window makers come and go. If you choose an unknown company to save a few dollars and they go out of business, your warranty is worthless and you’ll have no recourse if a window lock or other mechanism breaks.
Whether you buy your windows from us or from another company, we urge you to choose a reliable window manufacturer that has been in business for a number of years.
What Window Styles Do You Offer?
We pride ourselves on offering a wide selection of windows to ensure you can choose a product that meets your style, budget, and quality criteria.
We offer wood, fiberglass, vinyl, and composite windows, and our common window styles include:
Double-Hung
These are, by far, the most common style of replacement windows used in today’s homes. They’re low maintenance, energy-efficient, and easy to clean from the inside. They’re also the most traditional-looking window.
Glider or Sliding Style
These windows are the most economical way to fill a wide opening. They’re ideal for homeowners looking to get the most window for the best value. We can sometimes take two or three double-hung windows and replace them with a single glider window.
Picture
These allow the most unobstructed daylight through, and they’re the tightest fitting when it comes to air filtration because they don’t open.
Bay or Bow
This style of window brings in more light, makes the room feel bigger, and helps create a warm ambiance for your home.
Casement
When opened, this contemporary window style allows the most airflow of any window style. It also offers less air filtration or leakage because of the way it closes.
Cottage Style
These traditional windows are ideal for Colonial-style or Cape Code homes. They’re similar to double-hung windows, except that the top of these windows is typically smaller than the bottom. (With double-hung, the top and bottom of the window are the same size.)
European Style (Tilt-Turn)
Although we like these windows, they’re not as common in the United States as they are in Europe. We often use them in basement settings to meet egress (safety) requirements.
Awning Style
This style of window is typically horizontal and cranks outward from the top. Once nice benefit is that you can keep them open when it’s raining!
Hopper
These windows swing inward from the top, we will typically use vinyl hopper windows in a basement setting.
Architectural Shapes
If your home has windows with unique geometric shapes, such as a trapezoid or octagon, we can help when it comes time to replace them!
Glass Block
These windows are ideal for security and privacy. We’ll typically use them in basement window openings.
If you’re not sure what style you want or what will look best in your home, don’t worry! Schedule a free consultation, and we will walk you through your options and help you make the best decision for you, your home, and your budget. Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8-5; Friday 8–3; Saturday–Consultations by appointment.
