Home Remodeling Contractor in Wauconda, IL

McCann Window & Exteriors is the Northbrook team homeowners in Wauconda call for replacement windows. We measure, specify, and install in-house for Lake County and the North Shore houses that deal with Chicago winters, summer humidity, and older window frames that leak air and raise power bills.

If you searched for a home remodeling contractor in Wauconda, IL, window replacement is where we start. Energy-efficient vinyl, fiberglass, wood, and composite windows, plus entry doors and siding when the exterior needs a full refresh. Pella, Marvin, and Andersen options are specified to the opening — not a one-size showroom package.

Window replacement for Wauconda homes

Most Wauconda projects are replacements in existing openings: double-hung and casement on two-story colonials, picture and bay windows on ranches, and sliders on additions. We pull the old unit, check the sill and flashing, and install a properly sized replacement so the interior trim can stay. Lead-safe practices apply on pre-1978 homes common in Lake County.

Doors and siding (secondary)

Same crew, same Northbrook shop. Entry and patio doors, then vinyl, fiber-cement, or engineered-wood siding if the windows are only part of the exterior plan. Ask for a Wauconda window replacement quote first; we will not upsell a full remodel you did not request.

I can only say good things about the people I dealt with with McCann, from Kevin, and Jim, and all the installers. They did a great job, their customer service was excellent, they were very clean, and I am as happy as can be. They were professional, and a pleasure to do business with.

Just nice people all around. They know their stuff, have several quality options to choose from (less to more expensive), & didn’t pressure sell. Easy install, quality workmanship. Super satisfied with our experience.
