What is Low-E glass?

Low-E, short for low-emissivity, is a microscopically thin coating on the glass that reflects heat back where it belongs. In winter it keeps your heat inside, and in summer it bounces the sun’s heat away, all while letting light through. It is one of the highest-value features in a modern window and close to a must for Chicagoland’s swing between cold winters and hot summers.
